Introducing Sunshine Eyes Co.

 

 For the past four years, I have been a stay-at-home mom to three babies. It’s difficult to find work in this current economy and society when you have kids and need to work around your husbands schedule. I’m sure some of you are thinking about why I couldn’t work while they’re in school and daycare. We did not have a good expiernce with our oldest in daycare and, these days you just can’t trust anyone with your children. As far as school, there have been too many shootings for our comfort and the state we live in is ranked as one of the worst for education. We homeschool our children and plan on continuing until they’re in middle school. That does not leave me with many options for work unless it’s a work from home job. I’m an introvert as well with social anxiety and I do not like dealing with constant rude people. 

 My husband and I are also nerds and weebs. I’m an avid reader and care about the environment and the things that are going on and in our bodies. I began to research natural products for the home and body and everything that came up was made for minimalism. There were candles and soaps based off beige aesthetics and neutrals. It was difficult find any for people who enjoy maximalism and anime. 

This brings me to why I decided to create Sunshine Eyes Co. I wanted natural and environmentally friendly products that also catered toward my lifestyle. My vision is to create breed and anime, manga, video game lover products that they don’t have to feel guilty about buying. Products that go with their aesthetic but don’t harm their body or the environment. 

From beeswax candles, melts, hand soaps and body scrubs I’m planning to make things based off anime’s, mangas, video games and books. Everything will be made from reusable, recyclable or biodegradable products. My goal is to keep everything as environmentally friendly as possible while also keeping it natural and healthy for skin. Any plants used in the products have been grown and dried by me and I do not use pesticides or sprays. Everything is grown and dried naturally and made simply by hand. I’m looking forward to sharing my work with everyone and I hope that you’ll join me in this journey even if just to share posts. I am deeply grateful for everyone who has supported me through all my dreams.
